A Message to my Kids : Forgetting Your Place

Don't be forgetful. Blessings come every day. They may even come your way. Don’t forget that day. I find it fascinating how forgetful I’ve become. I have learned many helpful skills up to this point in my life and have still found myself making mistakes. If you have a list of morals and values : if you know what seems right or wrong to you, I would encourage you to live by those beliefs. You can grow simply by identifying who it is that you are, and sticking by those morals and beliefs. 

In the same breath, I am going to remind you not to be outwardly judgmental of others. Everybody lives a life separate from others, so everyone is going to grow at different rates. Some people never improve. Some people choose to stay stagnant, never reaching any more of their potential. I say that to remind you not to settle. When you settle, you forget that life can continue to propel you or offer you more. Opportunities are not consistent, but they can be plentiful over a long life.
