WILLPOWER
Today I met with a lot of new people. Internships tend to do that as you are required to work with multiple people: kind of like a team. Do you like any sports? If you do, please be sure to let me know which. I would love to support you and mom would too. Training for a game that you love will accrue these imaginative vivid memories in your life timeline. I know how emotional I can get when just watching a soccer or football game. Every bit of practice goes toward a higher chance of success in the future. Regardless of how it feels during this process. When applying for an internship, make sure you are confident and can see end goal results in the future. Make sure you brief yourself on the type of work that is being asked of you. I applied for 11 internships. All of which were somewhat comfortable to me, relevant, and peaked my interest. I luckily nailed my first interview from my first application, resulting in a Public Relations position for the Student Learning Center at my school..I was quickly meeting the diverse women, all working together in the same section of the library. I wouldn’t be working the desk as often as I will be giving seminars and speeches, but I still look forward to working with everyone. I set out goals for myself this semester. This year. This lifetime. I want to produce. When all is said and done and I must be buried (accepting death), accomplishment is a feeling I want to shoot through my body. I want to succeed. This means I will need to take a lot of baby steps in order to get there. When I started working, I knew I would not blow all of my money on things that make me feel accomplished. The luxury of rewarding myself would come once I have built a proper foundation. For the first time ever, I wanted to save for emergencies. For my children, for eating, for living. I knew the french leather crafters making designer belts would entice me: But I also knew I could wait just a little bit longer. Willpower. It’s a beautiful trait to pick up.
